Atlanta - Launching in the September issue of Atlanta InTown Magazine, fans of the “InTown Recommends” section will now find a monthly listing of arts and culture events provided by popular website, Atlanta PlanIt.com.
This arrangement is an expansion of an existing partnership between the organizations. For over a year, Atlanta InTown has utilized Atlanta Plant’s RSS feed, a tool that displays thirteen daily cultural events on InTown’s homepage – in exchange for in-kind advertising and promotion.
“We are thrilled to expand this partnership to print. Atlanta InTown is a great supporter of Atlanta’s cultural community,” says Nicole Jones, Atlanta PlanIt’s Editor in Chief.
Based on the success of its partnership with Atlanta InTown, Atlanta PlanIt, a project of the Metro Atlanta Arts & Culture Coalition, hopes to continue to cultivate content-based partnerships as a way to increase exposure to the arts and culture community. The site currently has a number of online and print channel-partner kits and has established website feeds for MARTA, WSB TV, Atlanta Jewish Times and is excited to see content go live on the ACVB’s site, Atlanta.net
