My very first blog

I can't believe this day has come... for many years I was anti-Facebook, Myspace, AIM and any other platform where traditional human communication is eliminated and replaced with acronyms, clever writing and an expectation that people might be interested in what I have to say. Seeing that I edit a website and work in the world of technology I am begrudgingly writing this blog at the encouragement of our technology partners who assure me "that someone out there will want to know what you are doing."
